A: While we do not have a studio, we provide photography services throughout the Calgary area and can travel to your location for photo shoots.

A: We offer a variety of photography sessions, including family, maternity, newborn, and portrait sessions. We can also customize a session to your specific needs.

Q: When is the best time for newborn photos?
A: The best time for newborn photos is within the first 14 days after the baby is born. This is when they are still very sleepy and easier to pose. Don't worry, we can also provide newborn photos for older newborns.

Q: How should I prepare for my newborn session with Thursday Photography?
A: We recommend that you keep the room warm and quiet and have feeding and changing supplies nearby. We'll take care of posing and capturing the perfect shots. We realize everyone is excited to watch, but we ask that only parents be present in the room where the shoot takes place to limit any distractions.
Q: How long will the photography session last?
A: The duration of the photography session depends on the type of session you book. Typically, sessions last between 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Q: Can I book an indoor photography session if I don't have a lot of room in my home?
A: Yes, you can still book a photography session with us even if you have limited space in your home. We can work with you to find the best location to capture the photos you desire.
Q: How long does it take to receive my photos?
A: We will have the proofs to you in about 5-7 days after the session. Once you have selected your favorites, it typically takes 2 - 3 weeks to receive your final edited photos. However, we will provide you with a timeline at the time of booking to ensure that you have an idea of when to expect your photos.
Q: What if I need to reschedule my photography session?
A: If you need to reschedule your photography session with us, please let us know as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate a new date and time for you.
Q: What should I wear for my photography session?
A: We recommend that you wear something comfortable and that makes you feel confident for your photography session. Avoid distracting patterns or logos and try to coordinate with others in your group to ensure that everyone looks great in the photos.
Q: Does Thursday Photography provide maternity clothing?
A: We do not provide maternity clothing for our photo sessions. We realize that everyone is unique and therefore it would be quite difficult and expensive for us to offer this option. Therefore we recommend choosing clothing that you feel most comfortable in.

A: We use high-quality professional cameras and lenses to ensure that we capture the best photos possible. We also use state-of-the-art editing software to enhance the quality of our photos.
